Philippines Tacloban Mission

Well here we go! we are now being prepared to enter the Field into our Missions. I'm with my batches named : Sister Sevilla, Sister Cabrera , Sister Abiera and Elder Empase . We were met by our mission President : President Andaya and His Asssistants Elder Nelson and Elder Ausban. It was amazing! Reaching your area and can't wait to walk around these streets and Share. We also met our two batches from Provo Utah, Sister Bogenshutz and Elder Murdock. We had Lunch at the Mission Home and Headed to our whole day Training.

Trainer's are about to be revealed! We are all excited . Then we heard the "I Shall Return" message from Mission President's wife and then after that the Trainer and Trainee were announced . My Trainer is Sister Besera from China Hongkong Mission but she is originally from Bohol . She is amazing! She taught me well and she's like my mom... I love her! I'm gonna serve in my First Area in BALAQUID- BILIRAN ZONE. language: waray2x and Cebuano .

I met my MTC Companion - Her name is Sister Neri from Bohol, she is amazing! I love her spirit as she shows to me how sincere she is in serving the Lord.

Well here we go! I am flying to Manila for an 18 months mission! Before I left I ask my Dad to give me a Father's Blessing it was a very heartwarming experience for me having been blessed by my Father before leaving in a 18 months journey preaching the Gospel. At exactly 5am we rode the Volkswagen and travel to the airport. When we arrive there the flight was cancelled and will be travelling by 8am and I am expected to be at the MTC by 8am so we switch flights to Cebu Pacific. It was time to go and I remember my aunt running through me and saying there are lots of members outside the airport and wanting to wave goodbye but My name was already in the waiting area for the flight.

That was the time I remembered! and said :

"NO TURNING BACK"

I rode the plane and even ask the flight attendants if I could wave goodbye to my family and friends and yet she said the Plane will already fly soon in a few minutes. I sat at the chair in my designated seat and open a letter from my Second Grandpa : Lolo Jan -

Where he included withing the letter a verse :

Mark 5:36 : 36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only ^abelieve. -  

Specifying the word - Be not Afraid , only Believe - this was the start of having that pinned in my heart as I serve the Lord for 18 months. A few hours of travelling the plane I have reach the Missionary Training Center! And I saw my NAME TAG! ahhh! I'm excited !...

My Call

This month of May was an awesome experience . It's a bright sunny day with a feeling of excitement seeing the Area of the 70 And the Area President with the Temple President and her wife. When we got into our seats with my cousin . Our Stake President turn a Brown folder to me and opened it. It is my call!

I have never experience such a great feeling! I was nervous, with trembling hands while opening the White envelope and there It states:

You are hereby called to Serve in PHILIPPINES TACLOBAN MISSION .

Wow! Really great! then my dad told me part of tacloban mission is one of my Dad's Area.. I am very happy to know that makes me excited to serve the Lord with all my heart, might and strenght.

It was the best Feeling I ever had

We spend our time with lots of memories

Good And Bad are all in that knowing time

So it is a BLESSING of knowing you 

Because I learned many things from you .

Lucky Day

                     Hai!! Everyone , I would just like to share to you about my luck day!! I had been in online searching Job Hunt for a Month! and since I started it I only got one payment and that was my writing job and because it's freelancer I did not receive another writing assignments again. And after Praying and Asking Heavenly Father's help to give me a job wherein I could help my family on our financial needs. Now He gave me two possible jobs. I love the Day Super!!
                    Then I realize how Heavenly Father answers Prayer! He is . He may not answer immediately! But He always answer it maybe He wants us to be patient in waiting for our answers and Learning from those Hard times .
                    It is such a good Day!! Be Happy ALWAYS!!

I adore Kate Middleton. I think she’s poised and elegant and, well, regal. And, in a world where celebrities splash more nude than clothed across the front covers of magazines, gossip sites, and the news, she’s a refreshing breath of air.

Because she’s modest.

It seems that many girls feel that modesty is synonymous with frumpy, boring, and unattractive; that guys will never pay attention to them if they don’t have enough skin showing; that all the best fashions include immodesty as a starting point.

This is not frumpy, boring, or unattractive.

I think she’s gorgeous. While Kate Middleton may not adhere perfectly to LDS standards of modesty—sure, sometimes her dress is a little lower cut or her shirt is sleeveless—her clothes definitely preserve the spirit of modesty, as do her words and actions.

In short, as my mother put it, she dresses like a queen.

And her example isn’t one that only Latter-day Saint women need follow: even celebrities are realizing that the class act that is Kate Middleton is more attractive.

President Uchtdorf, in his phenomenal talk “Your Happily Ever After” given during the April 2010 General Young Women’s conference, said this: “You are truly royal spirit daughters of Almighty God. You are princesses, destined to become queens.”

“‘Happily ever after’ is not something found only in fairy tales,” he explained at another point in his talk. “You can have it! It is available for you! But you must follow your Heavenly Father’s map.”

Ladies, we are all princesses, all regal, all daughters of God. Maybe, if we want to find our “happily ever after,” we should follow the example of a real-life princess, and start dressing modestly.
